DAVE FRETZ

Do you see what I see?

For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated with photographs, art and design. At a very young age I would open my parents "picture drawer", pull out all the old photographs and flip through, wondering and making up stories about the people and places trapped within those moments.

All too often I would get into trouble for drawing on, or colouring those photographs. Years later, here I am, still drawing and colouring on my photographs.

I see many things when I look through the lens of a camera, and some of those things cannot be captured simply by snapping that photograph. This is why many of my images may lean closer to a painting or piece of art. These are all done through combining other images, textures and illustrating.

I hope that you enjoy seeing what I see.
